About Us

About Louisiana AHEC Alumni

Louisiana AHEC Alumni is a community of professionals who have taken part in AHEC programming. This includes students in middle school, high school, college students, preceptors, peer navigators, continuing education participants and others. Some of our alumni are professionals working in the healthcare industry in Louisiana or in other states. And, some of our alumni have gone on to pursue other career opportunities, but still have an interest in AHECs and our mission.

As a collaborative effort among AHECs across our state, Louisiana AHEC Alumni offers a shared space where we can provide updates, network and pair seasoned alumni with young up-and-coming leaders. Whether students are in middle school, medical school or far beyond, Louisiana AHEC Alumni will support and offer guidance to those considering taking part in AHEC programming.
